The catering department of our college remained unique and separate in various ways and they functioned as a separate college and the head of the department was a great influential person and used to invite dignitaries in great positions to the department functions and conduct the functions in a grand manner and the next day the photos of the function will appear in all the daily news papers. In fact the catering department was the flag ship brand of the college.

The placements are organized in a wonderful way by the catering department and a separate month is allotted exclusively for recruitments and this will increase the restaurants hiring from the college. Companies from various fields including airlines, marine, railways, restaurant and various other fields will recruit candidates for various job positions and interviews and tests will be conducted day and night in the college.

Also the department welcomes the other college students for the restaurants hiring and will make it a mega event and the entire month restaurants hiring will go on and each candidate will be having a minimum of two offer letters and after writing the exam, these candidates directly join the jobs in the respective companies. The decorations made of wine and vegetables in front of the college will be amazing and each person will take a minute or two to stand and observe the decorations and some students take photos of the decorations made. These decorations will be kept for a month for the persons to see and every day the design will change with new fruits and vegetables decorating the desk.

The restaurants hiring will finally come to an end at the end of the month before a week of the schedule of the exams so that the restaurants hiring does not affect or disturb the University exams in any manner. The entire month will be a festival in the college and in the evening cock tail parties along with the delicious food items will be served to the companies and restaurants hiring in the campus and the hospitality will be one of the best. The candidates from other catering colleges will also join our college and the placement officers will in turn arrange the placements in our college itself. There is a good cooperation among the catering departments of various colleges and the main reason for all this is the dean of the catering department of our college.
